The south-eastern corner tower is part of the medieval city walls and is also called the Špitalski stolp.

It was built in the second half of the 15th century and represents one of the four preserved city towers. Interesting is the signboard and stamped finger, which shows where the water reached the waterfall in the 1672 crash.
